Our clients, who found us through the KWT magazine Wild Kent had a small section of garden that was unused and they were unsure of what to do with it. Beyond it is a section of woodland reached through an arch in a beech hedge.
Due to the small nature of the area to re design I produced three possible solutions and after a discussion left the plans with the clients who selected on section from each. The one constant feature was a viewing window that could be viewed from seating.
The resulting request was for composite decking, with a trellis surround and as said the viewing window. The trellis supplied was diamond and that caused a slight adjustment of the viewing window, but still to the great satisfaction of the clients.
As ever the importance of a design is clear.
